Phalaborwa - the ideal year-around destination
Phalaborwa is known as the "town of two summers" and the ideal year-round holiday destination.
The Lowveld, where its located, enjoys the highest winter temperatures in South Africa ranging from 11°C at night to 25°C during the day. There is very little rainfall.
During summer the average temperatures vary from 20° to 35°C with occasional heavy rainfall.
Any season of the year is a good time to visit the bush, as each has its own advantages. From November until March is our green season. The bush is lush and you will see many newborns.
April to October are the dry months: you will find many animals directly at the water holes.
