Experience amazing wildlife in their natural habitat in the Kruger National Park
Where nearly two million hectares of unrivalled wildlife and natural diversity fuses with historical and archaeological sights, this is real Africa.
The world-renowned Kruger National Park offers a wildlife experience that ranks with the best in Africa. Established in 1898 to protect the wildlife of the South African Lowveld, the Kruger Park is a world leader in advanced environmental management techniques and policies today.
Truly the flagship of the South African National Parks, Kruger is home to an impressive number of species: 336 trees, 49 fish, 34 amphibians, 114 reptiles, 507 birds and 147 mammals. Human interaction with the Lowveld environment over many centuries - from bushman rock paintings to majestic archaeological sites like Masorini and Thulamela - is very evident in the Kruger National Park. These treasures represent the cultures, persons and events that played a role in the history of the Kruger National Park and are conserved along with the park's natural assets.
Bush Walk in Kruger National Park
Become one with the bush as you track silently after the spoor of wildlife during game drives. You might not be the only one walking in the area! Be prepared for a unique experience in the African bush and walk in the footsteps of the Big 5. Two experienced game rangers will guide you through the bush for a close encounter with Kruger National Park’s wildlife.
Afternoon Game Drive and Evening Safari
Hear the lions roar while you enjoy sundowners as the sun slips behind the blue mountains in the west.
The biodiversity of the reserve attracts a wide variety of wildlife including the ‘Big 5’. The staff includes well-trained and experienced rangers who will share with you one of Africa’s most splendid ecosystems.
The night game viewing is an amazing experience on its own. The nocturnal sightings may include bush babies, the elusive genet, or hunting predators (lions, leopards, cheetah) stalking their prey.

Golf in the Wild - meet Giraffe, impala and warthog while enjoying a game of Golf in Phalaborwa
Greet the African dawn on the manicured fairways of the Hans Merensky’s challenging 18 Hole, Par 72 Championship golf course, where crocodile and hippo add spice to the normal “hazards” of a good game of golf.
The country club also offers a restaurant, bar, tennis courts, swimming pool, a hairdressing boutique and a curio shop.
Safari Boat Cruise along the Olifants River
Embarque on the boat for three hours of a unique river safari as you encounter crocodile, hippo and elephants up the Oliphants River along the banks of the Klaserie Game Reserve that borders the Kruger National Park. This is the original & best sundowner cruise on the river.
The top deck caters excellently for photographers and birding enthusiasts with chairs and tables to sit at and lay out your equipment and books.
Enjoy a sundowner on the boat deck as the brillant African sun sets and reflects along the stillness of this magical river.
A completely different game viewing experience, that you do not want to miss!
Blyde River Canyon
The Panorama Route is one of the most beautiful and popular travel destinations in South Africa. It leads through the rugged mountain range of the Northern Drakensberg. Here, in the north-eastern part of the Great Escarpment, the inland plateau declines abruptly and steeply and opens up fantastic views of the plains of the Lowveld a thousand metres below.
The canyon is one of the largest canyons on earth (26 km long and 800 m deep) and famous for its lush subtropical foliage.
The Panorama Route starts at the town of Graskop and includes:
God's Window, the Pinnacle, a number of waterfalls, Bourke's Luck Potholes and the canyon itself.
Visitors are regularily impressed by the "Three Rondavels": huge, round rocks, thought to be reminiscent of the houses or huts of the indigenous people, known as rondavels.
